Not wanting to break tradition, and continuing on with the 709 day trend, i ate out for dinner last night.

Okonomiyaki was the cuisine i was after and it was on the recommendation of my buddy from the local Sushi bar that we hit Otafuku in Yoyogi.

Okonomiyaki is compared to a pizza or pancake when describing it to foreigners and can come in various forms depending on what part of Japan you’re in.

Last nights was Hiroshima style whether the ingredients consisting of cabbage, bacon, squid, prawms, peppers, cheese etc were layered rather than mixed together.

First up for though, i started with a cheese and onion omelette.

Even better, i didn’t have to cook it myself which is often the done thing at Okonomiyai restaurants, some like that and it can be fun but i’m lazy when it comes to cooking.

It’s no wonder Google receives thousands of thousands of job applications each day, in the IT sector they’d be a great company to work for. There’s a lot to be said for a good working environment and Google has this side of things sorted big time.

Here’s a sneak peek into the Google Offices in Zurich thanks to Le Temps

Moving Around: A slide allows quick access from different floors … there’s also poles available, fire department style.

Food: Employees can eat all they want from a vast selection of food and drink.

As i cast an eye across what seems to be the most popular posts on the site i see a recurring theme, 4 out of the top 5 feature a picture of a female.

To date, according to Aiderss, the posts deemed the most popular are Bikini Or Jeans? ….. Japanese Schoolgirls …..Teach English In Japan – all J-Babes with the exception of the most popular post to date being the night i met Tila Tequila

So to show I’m a man of the people, and someone who listens to the readers, I’ve decided to introduce “J-Babe Of The Week” … not the biggest sacrifice I’m sure you’ll agree.

Friday seems like a good day for such a brainless post and a great way to leave the site as we head in to the weekend. Depending on how this is received, next week i may introduce another component to J-Babe Of The Week, either way, it’s here to stay in some way shape or form.

For your first dosage of “Vitamin J” i can’t go past my favourite, and i would regret it if i didn’t give her first billing as J-Babe of the week, the princess of Japanese TV -  Aki Hoshino

Aki Hoshino

I couldn’t decide on which picture to use so i had to post a couple of my favourites.
