A Big 5 Days In Taipei

October 29, 2007 · 8 comments

I`ve just arrived home from a great trip to Taipei. I`ve got the next few days ahead of me to pull all the photos off my camera and phone and post a few stories from the trip.

One of the highlights i wanted to quickly throw a picture up from was a bar and restaurant i went to for Sunday lunch. I`ll write about it in much more detail in the days to come.

In the mean time, anyone up for a sausage?

I managed to go to Taipei several years ago when I went to Hong Kong. It has been a while but I do remember the food, and it was great. I will eat just about anything so that might not be saying much, but it was HOT and good.

That was a great trip for me, made it up to the “bridge over the river Kwai” on the Burma (now Myanmar) border, great train ride. Look forward to seeing some of your pics. Scott

Egads, I think I had a heart attack just looking at the plate.

Yes, the Taiwanese do cook great food! Sometimes they do weird variations, but there are only a few very local dishes I daren’t eat… YET!

First of all, look at those sausages. Wow !
Taipei is a very nice place. I had some good times when I was there also. I enjoyed onsen, and especially beef & noodle ramen !
