When i first saw these photos i assumed the girl was Japanese, but now i’m pretty sure she’s Chinese, hence the title of the post.
I also opted to go for a witty title involving 3 words starting with C in case you didn’t notice, it was my second choice after “Hardcore Chinese Girls” but that just results in guys arriving here and then quickly leaving … disgruntled.
I originally didn’t see the series in order, i only saw the third picture … and i must say i thought to myself, what have you done girl. The finished job is much better, although the photo is a little shabby.
Personally, i love a good tattoo on either a man or a woman and would have no problem dating a girl with a tattoo, big or small.
Not that tattoos are a common site in Japan, not in general population as a fashion accessory like in western society anyway, but they do exist, recently at Enoshima i saw many a punter with a tattoo.
Which raises the question and the topic for the next poll …
A while back i wrote about one mans obsessions with a vending machine at work, it seems others like them just as much and want the convenience of a vending machine at home.
I guess it’s a good way of reducing your guests freeloading off you, just point them to the balcony if they want a drink.
Japanese Shirt Folding is new to me, but apparently it’s a well known thing within the clothing circles.
Not that i have a great need to fold shirts in record time, but having seen this i felt compelled to give it ago and also to capture it and post it to Vimeo.
I’d be lying if i said that was the only reason, I also wanted to test out the remote control for the camera and the tripod i bought from Yodobashi so several boxes ticked in one go.
After a few attempts i was able to record this successful fold using the Japanese Shirt Folding technique. Could do with a bit more refining but Japanese Shirt Folding isn’t in the Olympics yet so i don’t need to perfect it …. but i’m sure you get the idea.
If you couldn’t follow the video and you’re still reading this then here’s the instructions.
Grab both layers of fabric in the middle with your right hand. With your left hand grab the should and pass it over your right hand to the bottom of the shirt.
Then, lastly it’s a matter of pulling the original right hand through the left and there you have it, the Japanese Shirt Folding technique in less then 10 seconds.
Continuing on with the series of “timely taken photos” here’s another that caught my eye, the skirts on Japanese Schoolgirls are far too short in many instances.
I don’t thing this one needs as much explaining but maybe there’ll be those that think it’s doctored aswell …. i’m pretty suspicious that it has.
And for those coming here looking for more photos of Japanese School Girls you might like a few of these pics, not school girls but contestants from this years Miss Japan contest.
Update: Interesting results in the poll so far, this one has no finish date so it will be interesting to see how the numbers level out over time. Hmmm, maybe the results will mean introducing some new content on the site in the coming weeks.
Lastly, the Seven Wonders Of Japan has been run and done and Gary will soon be writing up the results on his site complete with brand new theme … go and check it out, not sure if there’ll be an update today though as he’s a bit sick and spending most of his time in the small office.
Bicycles are a main means of personal transport in Japan, mainly because they’re cheap, they can be ridden easily in and around the streets of Japan and they’re extremely convenient for parking.
Whether it’s near the shops you’re visiting or the the station you want to leave from there’s plenty of parking available for the person that wants to be propelled by pedal power.
Despite having a perfectly good bike park down stairs from my apartment i am still without a push bike, i prefer to walk and having seen the skill of some of the motorists over the last few years it’s probably the safest option … but i digress.
Bikes come in all different shapes and sizes in Japan with the most common being the standard everyday rider, complete with basket on the front, seen here in their dozens.
The old fashioned variety.
The more modern “MG Branded” bike.
The latest and greatest that Glenn gets around on.
But the original no frills grey number is still my favourite, which seems to go against my earlier claim about Japanese Girls Underwear.
I can’t recall where i got the last picture from so image source is unknown, i know i didn’t take it that’s for sure.
