Spotted down at Enoshima last weekend and another example of the cool Japanese transport we have here, was this deluxe scooter. Makes me wish i had parking facilities at my place and i also wish i took a few more photos of this bad boy.

Here’s the boring version of the same bike, still pretty slick.

And one with less of the hoo haa, but the same laid back ride.

If you haven’t already voted please stop by the Seven Wonders of Japan now.

In the market for a scooter myself mate. Can you get some shipping prices for me back to OZ. That scooter would complete my Oooooordinary early mid life crisis just perfectly.
Dare i say mate, it would suit your wallet much more with the price of fuel in Australia these days …. ridiculous man! Thank god i don’t have a car … or any of the costs associated with it mate ….. i still remember the time i ponied up for the fuel bill for your 4WD to the snow ….. would hurt much more now.
$150 + to fill my beast mate. I am dead serious about buying a scooter….particularly now that I dont have to worry about a helmet ruining my hair.
“If” i ever returned things would be very different transport wise for me mate …… small car or scooter, whatever is absolutely necessary … prefer not to have anything. Trade that car in ASAP man and scooter it up.
Explaining what cash gifting is how ive been able to leverage money for people.
“People have been taken. They have been lied to. They have had their money literally stolen from their pockets. Scam artists flooded the postal service first and then the Internet with bogus programs that never delivered the goodwill and helpfulness that they promised” – that was one of the first results that came up. – I don’t like the look of it at all, who actually goes for this Cash Gifting sort of thing i wonder.
you can try to google it.. loads of information has come up on it.. i predict.. that people will start to hear more about it in the near future.
My neighbor a “Chimp” has one. It’s a got a stereo too. Sounds like sh_t though
No doubt there Chris, not going to impress anyone with the roar from it!
the slick versions are coolest
They look ideal (and a lot of fun) for the Japanese traffic and the cost of fuel around the world.
Looks good for city travelling…But for long distance I guess car is still the best.
Is it just me or does the first one look like a casket?
This is the scooter I used to ride in Tokyo:

Hello, my group is simply establishing our first website, searching and figuring out what’s needed. This blog stuck out right away. I’m fired up about this, and adore the design of your site. Can you let me know what “theme” it is?
