Cool Japanese Transport #3

August 11, 2008 · 5 comments

I was up at Kamogawa Beach last weekend for a combination, jet skiing / drinking / birthday party on the beach. Despite some sunburn it was a good day, albeit a long way to go for a day trip.

Throughout the summer season the guys leave their jet ski’s and other watercraft on the beach and employ various methods to get them into the water.

From the standard front end loader to more unconventional transport in this homemade looking tank type set-up.

It didn’t break any land speed records but it certainly does the job.

And finally in action, complete with bakajin escorting it on the side.

They have some huge beach cleaners in Hawaii that come out around 4am. I would never had known had I not passed out drunk on the beach and nearly got run over by one. :)
