Dogenzaka is known for many things, the home of Love Hotels in Shibuya probably being the main one but recently i happen to be walking through Dogenzaka when i noticed this doorway.
I’m not a massive guy, but you’d need to be shorter than 4′ to get through this doorway without bending over.
More on Dogenzaka’s main draw card coming up but in the mean time, i for one am intrigued about what happens at “Strawberry Jam” … in increments of 30 minutes at ~$80.

Being a foreigner i guess i’ll never know what goes on in Strawberry Jam …. one can imagine though.
There’s no shortage of Love Hotels there, … i think it’s pretty much on par with Kabukicho for numbers and probably takes it for density. It must be quite a site at night, not only the buildings, the patrons too.
I’ve seen much better rates over here. Although I would like to see what quality they have at Strawberry Jam, im afraid being Asian won’t be enough to get me through the door.
The Yoda-sized entranceway is one thing … but the matching scooters is another. Why matching? And why in front of a Yoda-sized doorway?
