You can usually see her on Japanese TV most nights during the week and TBS’ Kings Brunch on Saturday mornings and thanks to reader DougYoon K for sending me this picture, she’s now this weeks J-Babe Of The Week, Yuka.
It was no easy feat finding some pics of Yuka but hard work and persistence got me there …. and searching in Japanese rather than English helps a great deal.
I never knew such beauty was hiding under the conservative clothes she wears on TV.
Much to my surprise Yuka appeared on the cover of Japanese Playboy …. it bears little similarity to the Western version, sorry guys.
So it’s a trip down memory lane this week, to 1998 when Yuka threw on the bikini and worked the camera.
The photos are very retro i’m sure you’ll agree.
I wish there were a few more along the ‘elegant’ lines.
Yuka rates right up there with Aki Hoshino for ladies i’d love to meet in Japan while i live here.
I don’t think Saturday morning TV will ever be the same for me.

Apparently Yuka has a strong desire to learn English and travel more, possibly even do a home stay. I know i’m all up for helping her wherever i can.

I haven’t seen her do any Gravure stuff in the 3 years i’ve been here. She seems to be pretty serious about making a name for herself as a legitimate presenter these days.

Yup, she was all about the Gravure 10 or so years ago. Hasn’t been producing the assets, so to speak, recently. (There was a pretty famous pic of her in a straw hat back in the day…)

Hmmm, I hate to rain on your thought parade on this subject, but unless you have absolute proof of this, I wouldn’t be accepting information of this type at face value. Japanese children show producers expect absolute purity from their actors and actresses. There are a ton of lookalikes in the Japanese porn industry and they copy the names of the girls they resemble. This I know for a fact because I work with Japanese porn on a daily basis (and have done so for the past 6 years), and I have children. The smallest mistake in a actor/actresses’ life can lead to dismissal. One only has to look at the recent Kusanagi incident to understand this.
All that said, if you can produce proof, I’ll happily retract my statement IN AS FAR AS accepting that the girl would be an extreme exception to the rule.
