Thailand is a good place to cut loose. Costs are cheap and there is lots of beaches around. I’ve been lucky enough to get a US salary rate job of about $20k per month so can live pretty comfortably and save up a lot.

I think Japan is interesting but it seems hard to be saving up 1 million yen or more per month… unless you think otherwise? Not so many high paying jobs around?

I spent last winter near Phuket doing some diving. Its beautiful. You could lose yourself in that ocean with all the fish, drinks, and people.

Looks like a lot of fun, especially the part about sitting in the pool from 12 until 5pm drinking as many cocktails from the list as humanly possible
