bought and just watched the latest documentary. Alot of pain in Tysons life, but such a honest man. Im strong where he is weak, and he is strong where i am weak. I look up to the man and im gonna learn of his mistakes and try to build my spirit up by beeing honest to myself.
I realy like to listen to him. He uses real words and real feelings.
About his child i cant imagine all the pain. Hope he finds love from the rest of his kids.

It was something to see/hear how he was transformed from a street kid, to an athelete like no other. His origional trainner was ‘one-in-a-million’ and seemed to have taught him respect (for hiself, the people around him, and the sport), but when he passed away, too many vultures took advantage of him. Definitely wish him the best, he has been delt many bad hands in his life, that many people would have just crumbled to.

I just watched the documentary. What a fascinating portrayal of him He has had quite a life. I hope for the best for Mike Tyson.

It certainly has been a ride of massive fluctuation he’s experienced. I remember when he was INVINCIBLE then it all fell apart …. and the movie depicts all those reasons very well.

He is a product of his sport. He was trained to be an animal and he is an animal. His original manager was the only one that could control him but once Don King got his claws in him it was all over. King encouraged him to be more of an animal and it ruined his career. He was the greatest fighter ever and i doubt anyone else could ever beat him when he was in his prime.

With his daughters death i hope it humbles him and he comes back to reality. It is to late for his career though.

I remember when he DESTROYED Larry Holmes.
On that night he coulda beat Ali or anyone else in history. That fight was an amazing display of ferocity. I started boxing and continue on and off till this day after watching him destroy Trevor Berbick.

Bad management/handlers (after Cus)
Greed
A style built around youthful energy. (limited time only)
And lack of focus
and Jail
Put an end to the most lucrative and exciting era in modern boxing history.

My Condolences go out to him. I hope he doesn’t lose it.
