Otafuku Bonenkai

January 7, 2009 · 7 comments

The bonenkai (忘年会 – forget the year gathering) season is officially over at the end of the year and now a new round of shinenkai (新年会 – new year gathering) will begin.

One of my last soiree’s for 2008 was held by the master from my local Okonomiyaki restaurant and a great night it was.

Unfortunately the photos only reflect dinner and drinks.

I get into Otafuku at least once per week, it’s a great place for dinner and a few beers. It also turns into a Japanese Lesson after a few beers, the best lesson to have too, it’s real world stuff.

Old mate next to me works at the restaurant and speaks great English so there is a bit of back up when things get too hard.

4 Wise men … no so wise several hours later after copious amounts of whiskey at Karaoke followed by a few hours at the local Girls Bar.

Unfortunately there’s no photos from the Karaoke or the Girls Bar, the best i can do is put up a J-Babe this Friday, sorry.

Michael Jordan is not only widely considered to be the greatest player to ever grace the NBA, but he is also certainly the greatest basketball brand, sorry LeBron.
