Photo Hunt – Metal, Kinzoku

March 21, 2008 · 22 comments

This weeks theme in The Photo Hunt is Metal or Kinzoku (きんぞく) in Japanese.

I took this photo of a metal, Sun Tiger water pump, on the way home from my local Sushi bar where i eat dinner and have a few beers several nights each week.  You could be mistaken for thinking this photo was taken deep in the country of Japan but it’s actually taken in Yoyogi, a suburb of Tokyo.

Gosh.. this should be in a museum. Haha! From the look of your photo, it is still functioning. Do people in Tokyo still use that in their daily chores?

Mine are up… Hop in for some fun this weekend in Criz Cats Sanctuary and/or have a look what the metal teeth cat did in Criz’s Sanctuary. Have a nice weekend!

Happy Easter [or happy weekend, if you don't observe the holiday], and if you can, drop by for my metal interpretation!!! See if you can guess what it is.

Nice. I was surprised what a small town Tokyo was when you walked around during my visits for work.

looks like one of those manual pumps in the Philippines. I didn’t know that Japan still have something like this!
