It never ceases to amaze me what how there's not a lot of wasted space in Japan.
On my morning walk to the station i'm forever looking around to see what i can see, take this small Shrine for example … tucked inbetween 2 buildings and in front of an elevator.

I’ve been there is japan last year…One thing that I notice there are lots of pretty woman..:D.. I like there culture but sad to say I did not master there language..Maybe by next year I’ll be back there and experience more things..
Lovely pictures. The shrine looks nice. I´d look to be in Japan in see all this things on my own!
Are you “TiVo”ing these posts or what?? Pre arrranged timed posts?? Not terribly interesting…but I am a sucker for a good pic soooooo…….Cool!!!
Not sure what “TiVo”ing is Chris but yes i did put a few things down before i left and set them to go off every few days. There was no way i was taken a laptop away with me and as it turns out the internet access was scarce ….. so i heard from others who needed to change travel plans.
First trip i’d decided to take with no laptop in about 10 years and i didn’t miss it one bit …. was good to have some time off from it to be honest …. having said that i didn’t want the latest post to remain the same for ~2 weeks.
The first time I came to Japan, I captured a great image of a shrine (full-size) trapped between two office buildings and a conservatively-dressed woman carrying a parasol. These photos made me remember that. Wish I could find that shot…
Yeah, I’m with ya!!!!
F__ technology baby!!!! woo hoo!!!
***Chris says by e-mail****:(
Is that a place for praying to grandparents which already passed away?
Hmmmm, not sure exactly what it’s purpose is if at all anything different from any other ’shrine’ in Japan.
