Chisato Morishita (森下 千里) Born September 1, 1981 in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture is currently working in Talent, as an Idol and doing some acting too, she started out as a Race Queen and she’s here today because JT suggested her.

Before we start i’d like to ask that we keep all comments on a decent level and refrain from sledging the girls appearance. There’s still plenty of scope within that too say whether you like the girl or not.  Personal attacks on appearance, especially with profanities, often result in my email box getting negative emails about the site and the people that read it.

With that said, here’s Chisato Morishita, with a smile that lights up the room.

I don’t know about you but that smile is pretty infectious for me.

Christmas In Japan

December 9, 2008 · 26 comments

As another Christmas quickly approaches us there’s no chance it’s going to slip by unnoticed in Japan, everyone seems to get in on the Christmas spirit … or commercial spirit depending on which way you look at it.

Like anywhere in the world Santa comes in all shapes and Japan has its fair share of variations and i had a bit of a gander through flickr to find some examples.

Ginza Santa.

Santa Claus

Santa busting out the all too familiar peace sign, something very synonymous with life in Japan like a mentioned here.

Over the past week i’ve had a great mate of mine from Australia in town. Motts has made the most of his time here in Tokyo and has also managed to get a few days down to Kyoto mid week and a day in Nagoya Sunday for the Sumo.

Motts has been a massive supporter and regular reader of this site since it’s launch and it was great to show him somethings i love about Japan first hand. On the weekend It was too hot to do the next installment on the JR Yamanote Line although he was angling for it … instead we spent a lazy Saturday down at Shonan Beach, Enoshima.

Shonan Beach is about an hour away on the Odakyu line if you take the Limited Express Romance Car, the hour is made easy with a few cans of the local brew.

Enoshima Shonan beach

It was hands down, one of the best days i’ve had in Japan, sitting in a bar on the beach is something i’ve done in many many countries and Saturday was the first time i’d done it in Japan.

It’s a different side of Japan down that way, and the memories of past holidays in Ilha da Itaparica in Brazil and Jomtien Beach in Thailand came flooding back.

The beach isn’t exactly the golden sand of the Gold Coast and the water isn’t the bluest in the world, there’s also plenty of shite that’s been washed up on the shores.
