The 40th Tokyo Motor Show Pictures
Nov 6th, 2007 by Neil
The 40th Tokyo Motor Show 2007 is be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba City for 17 days from October 26th (Friday) through November 11th (Sunday) this year. This , the first time since 2001, the show is back to a combined show featuring cars, bikes and commercial vehicles so it was bound to be a manic affair.
It`s a good 1.5 hrs to get out there by train from my place so i kept it tidy Saturday night and set off early Sunday. I usually rely on my phone to take pictures as i get out and around Tokyo but for this one i needed to take my Canon with a bit more ooomph.
Now i won`t pretend to be a massive car buff, quite the opposite i can take them or leave them, truth be known i went out there too see the futuristic concept cars this show is known for and the beautiful J-Babes modelling with them. I was lucky enough to see plenty of both, on what was a great autumn day, and naturally i took a heap of photos.
Of all the photos i took these rated the best for me. I’ve never been a big fan of thumbnails so here they are scaled down from 3648 x 2736 to something a little more manageable. All requests for full size images will be heard …. just not necessarily actioned, by all means ask though, you might catch me in a giving mood.

If you liked these pictures you may like the photos i took from Miss Japan 2008 or the Coming of Age Festival
If you’ve had enough of looking at pictures, why don’t you get your own Japanese Girlfriend

Great pics…
wow awesome pics.
The pictures you have taken were great, i love both the autos and the girls. Those motorcycles especially are great looking.
Looks awesome!
Was there a live demo of the Pivo?
Yes there was …. i didn`t get any footage i think there`s a fair bit on youtube. The Nissan stand was the busiest by far, they`re a very proud patriotic lot over here.
